Republican Candidates Should Listen to Rush

Our Republican Candidates better take a page out of the Democrat playbook and follow the direction of our key voices of the conservative media led by Rush Limbaugh. I think the lack of leadership by Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid demonstrates the dems don't have a plan. They are taking their marching orders from the old media. I think the media and the democrats became alarmed and scared by the high approval numbers President Bush enjoyed the year following 9/11. This triggered an escalationa dn amplification of the Bush Bashing and Bush hatred to all time record levels. I don't agree with everything the President has done while in office but the all out assault on his presidency is alarming, frustrating, and treasonous.

But who envisioned the assault and led the charge? Looking back, I think it was the old liberal media. I think the New York Times, USA Today, CNN, CBS, NBC and ABC looked around and saw "deer in the head lights" looks on the faces of the democrat leadership and decided to take matters into their own hands. They have been leading the charge ever since justifying their treasonous actions as we are doing what is best for us. (i.e. their lifestyles, businesses, and political party). Democrats were smart enough to play along.

So, what's up with the Republicans? It is clear that they are in search of new leadership (President Bush seems to have given in to the torrent of Bush bashing and given up the fight) the republicans are a drift in the political world frozen with fear.

Time to take a play out of the democrats political playbook. While the old media seems to be leading the democrats down the path of defeat, Rush won't lead conservatives astray.

It is time for republican candidates to find a backbone, fight back, espouse conservative values and don't be ashamed to stand up for what is right and decent, and best for our country. We don’t' want America to lose the War in Iraq. We don't want Iran building Nukes to blow us or our allies up. We want our borders secured and we are not interested in the feelings of illegal aliens in this country when they put our very lives in danger by not passing the right kind of border security legislation.

We want the government to stop meddling so much in our lives, stop being so heavy handed with business and costing the economy billions of dollars in compliance to silly laws like Sarbanes Oxley. I think it is crazy, naive and arrogant to maintain a hypothesis that mere human beings can warm the globe more than Sun cycles, volcanic activity and other natural occurrences in the climate. I don't care, I don't feel guilty and I belive in the seperation of church and state which means the church of global warming should not be sanctioned by our government.

However, I don't hear the congressional republicans saying anything close to what represents my conservative views. Yet every day, Rush bravely takes to the airwaves and takes on the socialist’s liberals in this country. The libs take potshots at him and call him irrelevant. Yet, they will learn he speaks for millions of fed up conservatives waiting for the eye of the tiger to return in our congressional representatives and presidential candidates. One day a sweeping victory for republicans will take the old media by surprise once more like sweeps in 1996, 2000, 2002, and 2004. I can't wait to see the hand wringing come election night as they ponder where the heck all of the red states came from on their election maps.

Mega Conservative Leadership Dittos Rush! Thanks for your courage and conviction.
